  1. Yep, that's the method I got to work but only with an interior wall. If I do the same steps with an exterior wall, it doesn't cut below for some reason
  2. I was able to make it work, but only with an interior wall. Is there a reason it doesn't seem to work with an exterior wall?
  3. I had tried that previously before posting, but it doesn't cut the wall below when checked
  4. I have a gable dying into a shed roof, and the gable creates a knee-wall. But it leaves an opening above where the soffit would return. Any way to close this off correctly?
  5. Our firm likes to have 6" corner boards on the front/back of a house, with 4" on the sides. Is there a way to make a corner board with two sizes? 4" on one side and 6" on the other?
  6. Robert that looks perfect! (Nice touch including my bag haha) I'm pretty sure I follow what you're suggesting, but may need to pick your brain again if I'm not getting it to work out. Cheers!
  7. Tried that, only removes the trim on the shared wall side above the treads.
  8. Yes, I have stringers off, but they still show the sideboards (is there a technical name that better suits these?)
  9. Hi Eric, I have basically what you have. But how can I not show the side stringers (so that the wall goes right to the treads), and have the carpet runner lap over the side?
  10. I've seen the methods of creating a typical rake wall, and tried to replicate in order to make this existing stair condition, but it's pretty different than the "usual". Any idea on the best way to make this as-is? Cheers,
