HI, Im a part time use of cheif, using X14. I'm trying to generate the sweep path of a vehicle in a townhouse design I'm creating. I cant seem to find anything in chief that shows/generates the path of a vehicle, in an efficient manner without drawing individual poly lines. Anyone out there got any info if the program has something like this? there are other programs that you can export to, do it there and reinport it. but thought I'd try Chief first. Regards Jason

Can anyone tell me why the majority of my wall junctions are like this? where the main layer (yellow) isn't continuous around the corner?

Hi all, I'm a very part time user of Chief. this one has had me stumbling around for hours. in the image attached the wall cladding is absent where the deck frame buts up. it's also not displaying the deck frame and the layers for this are switched on. any ideas as to whats going on in this area? 25 Gas st Chief question about cladding deck frame.pdf

HI All, were you able to get this to work in X14? I'm currently using x14 and changed the General wall defaults to outer surface and the external walls still wouldn't snap to cad lines. other than setting an additional cad line back the distance of the main framing layer. any ideas of how to get the outer layer to snap to the cad lines?

Hi All, I've recently upgraded to X14. I'd been working on a project and have now continued with X14. I had dimensioned the project in X13. when it was opened in x14 the last dimension line is sitting over the previous dimension line underneath. I've attempted to move with the red square grab handles but it won't shift. some of the dimension lines around the project will let you and others won't. any ideas as to why I can't move some of my dimension lines?

thankyou for your responses, so I'd already set the defaults to lower than what the stem was is displaying as. even if I change it lower now it doesn't change the height of the stem wall. I've also attempted to go into the Room specification dialogue box to change the stem wall height there. however the box for stem wall is greyed out and won't let me amend.

Hi All, I'm trying to amend the height of the Stem walls! this is the wall between the footing and the external wall of the house. I also tried Foundation walls but can't seem to find how to amend this element of the design. Can anyone led me towards where is the location to amend the heights of these?

Hi All, how and where can I adjust the height of the stem wall. sorry, I'm in Australia and "Stem wall" is a different term to what we use here. I've tried looking in th foundation wall. and walls and defaults. but can't see anywhere that I can actually adjust the height of the wall. I can adjust the footing. but not the wall height. thanks all. it's probably an ametuer question.

Hi All, the settings for these two verandah roofs are identical. however the one at the front is abou 500mm lower than the side roof. any suggestions as to why this may be. I can't get them to align.

Hi all, can anyone suggest why this wall that I've selected won't change back to a hip wall from a gable? you can see it is selected as a hip. but it won't change back I"m using Chief x13
