Hi Eric, thanks for responding. I sent a picture (not sure if it went through) that is similar to the look we are trying to achieve. I think I may just focus on the interior from the outline and let a professional draft the roof system.

I think the problem may be the auto generated roof. I have tried going to build roof, roof planes and have tried to change the section that I wanted as gables. I also would like the main hip on the front to stretch larger than the hip behind it. Would I need to manually make that change?

6.30.plan6.30.plan Hi, I wanted to see if anyone could help make a gable all the way through from front to back. I have the front, but I am having a hard time changing the hip to a gable in the back. I would like for the roof to step down from a hip to gable.

Thanks for the response. I read through, but do not see my specific problem. I believe I have attached the plan properly and added Chief Architect Premier X13 to my signature. I am using auto rebuild, but something is not allowing it to work properly. RichardUser Plans.zip

I am trying to turn the auto generated hip roof into a gable, but when I click on change to gable it does not change the roof, but it does say that it is a gable wall. Is there a setting I need to check? RichardUser.plan
