    Stephen, thanks for responding. I have the pro version of chief architect and it does not appear to have "soffit" in the roof plane spec. Is there another way to get rid of the soffits?

    I have a shed roof over a deck with 3' eaves and I want the rafters exposed. The rafters are exposed over the deck, but I can't get rid of the soffits on the eave portion.
