Having problems displaying wall framing. It has been a while since i have been back into CA12 so I am just missing the enabling process to display framing in a new wall. I have an existing plan that I am updating and when I added a new wall I can not see see framing. I have gone back into the wall settings and enabled and disabled the retain wall framing and it still does not show the framing. I would appreciate help in reminding me the steps. Thanks

Thank you for the information. I have only designed in CA and not imported a cad file plan. What limitations would I have to modify it and be able to view changes? If I would include a materials list in the import, will I be able to see the plans in 3d?

I am looking to purchase a house plan from a company and I have the option of purchasing the material list. If I do not, will CA calculate material list on its own once I import the cad file?

I originally used HD Pro 2021 to design my plans. I upgraded to X12 to complete some more details. Once competed I canceled my subscription. I need to make some edits and I am wondering if X12 can save plans and layouts to HD Pro 2021 version that is editable?

I have not seen that function in X12

I am using CA X12 software.

I have manually edited some roof framing and as I have worked on another roof plane it will not rebuild unless the rebuild roof framing is checked. But when I do it overwrites my other edits. Is there a setting that locks framing like in retain wall framing?
