Still not sure why the stairs from the second floor to the landing between the 2nd & 3rd floor won't recognize.

No luck still, I've played around with rise and tread numbers and nothing seems to connect them properly still. Even using numbers not true to what site is.

When I attempt this, the first long set of stairs to the 2nd floor landing work but then the the railing on the landing stays where the next set of stairs go up to the landing between the 2nd and 3rd floor and 3rd floor landing. Not sure what is causing that as I followed what you had recommended.

I'm trying to re-create stairs in a stairwell of an 3 story apartment building. Not to sure what the best way to go about this is, as I've tried using U shaped stairs and laying each set of stairs and landing individually, but have had no luck getting all of them to connect. Hi, I am wondering if there are fire escape/evacuation symbols within chief architect or do these need to be downloaded independently and imported in? Thanks.

So I did that, but it didn't adjust my roof plane to meet the same depth of my trusses. Do I have to regenerate the roof planes after adjust the framing thickness?

Tried playing around with this dialogue box, but haven't had any luck. What am I specifically looking to adjust in there? I've also attached the plans if that helps. Project 2.plan.zip

Having a brain fart here and can't remember how to change the depth of the ceiling? Currently my ceiling cuts about halfway through my trusses, but I need the ceiling to be lowered so it sit under the trusses. Can attach a zip file if needed. TIA for any help!

When I delete my invisible wall that closes of the little entryway porch in plan view to try and get the room regenerate, I end up with this.

This entry way is the current location of an as-built project I'm working on. I had to shift the exterior walls a couple inches to the left and now I'm trying to get the porch to be flush with the exterior walls but for some reason I can't get the deck boards to regenerate in the new position.

I did some adjustments to my exterior walls and now I need to adjust/move over the front entry porch a couple of inches. But for some reason now I can't remove the deck boards from the porch, its like they are stuck in the location. I've attached a picture as well as the file in compressed form. Update: For the heck of it I tried framing it with a flat ceiling over the deck and that works, so I'm not sure at this point what is going on that it won't frame with trusses when its vaulted. Any and all help would be much appreciated!

Ended up redoing the entire roof, now when I try to span my trusses across they only go halfway before switch over to the other side. Updated plans attached. T.I.A Plan.plan.zip

Hi, I've searched high and low and haven't been able to find anything on how to frame with scissor trusses for a balcony roof. Any leads or help would be awesome. Currently getting an error message saying " Roof and ceiling planes cannot be found or they are too close together, so cannot make truss." When I do draw a truss. T.I.A

Also wondering what is the best way to create a flat roof without parapet walls?

Hi, I'm trying to recreate this flat to shed roof off the front of the house, but not quite sure how to do it. Do I need to create a roof plane on each level for the shed roof? I've attached my plan with what I have come up with but stumped on how to get the attic walls to show on levels 2 and 3. Thanks Plan.plan

Hi, I am wondering how you get stairs on the side of a building, leading from ground level/main level to the second level, to show on the second floor plans? Is there a way to do it using the auto generate stairwell tool? I've included a couple photos for reference. Thanks!

All clip setting are unchecked in the Camera DBX, so not sure what else could be causing this to happen?

Curious as to why the tree on right side clips anything after my vertical dashed line? Previously it was doing it on both sides, but now just on the one side and I haven't touched any of the settings. TIA for the help all!
