All clip setting are unchecked in the Camera DBX, so not sure what else could be causing this to happen?

Curious as to why the tree on right side clips anything after my vertical dashed line? Previously it was doing it on both sides, but now just on the one side and I haven't touched any of the settings. TIA for the help all!

I'm looking for some recommendations as to what my CPU Ray Trace settings should be when do interior renderings to get the best quality, as my computer doesn't support GPU Ray Trace. Everything I've tried ends up coming out too dark or too bright. I also notice that the top of my cabinets project some light, could this be the cabinet material reflecting the light sources? I've attached photos of both my current settings and the cabinet issue. TIA for suggestions and recommendations.

Okay so now my stairwell doesn't cut, would I have to do that manually now with the auto height deselected? -
Stairs to sit on top of landing and not the side
StephenM replied to StephenM's topic in General Q & A
So I've got the landing at the height I need it but anytime I turn off the landing railing and deselect auto height, and move the stairs up to the proper height, the stairs disappear. If it helps I can attached the file with some pictures of what I am trying to achieve. Thanks. -
Just wondering if it's possible to get stairs to sit on top of the landing rather than being attached to the side of the landing like shown in the screenshot I've attached. TIA

Angled wall meeting a straight wall creates a point
StephenM replied to StephenM's topic in General Q & A
Thanks everyone for the help. Just wonder if it's possible to square off the end of a straight wall and an angled wall (like my original post) but right at the intersection point? I've attached another photo with dashed lines with what I'm trying to accomplish. T.I.A -

Angled wall meeting a straight wall creates a point
StephenM replied to StephenM's topic in General Q & A
Okay so I've tried this method and for some reason it still won't work. Did you break the wall after the angled wall meets the straight wall or did you break first and then put the angled wall in? Thanks for the help everyone! -
Angled wall meeting a straight wall creates a point

Thanks for the help @mtldesigns. I tried putting a room divider in and nothing changed, so I want it. right at the angle or at the end? -
I have an angled wall meeting a straight wall and it creates a point but I want the the last 4 inches on the straight wall to square off. I've attached a picture of what It's doing and used dashed lines for what I want. TIA for the help.

Wondering what the best way to make some custom stairs are? I've tried using the stair tool but I think I need a different approach for this shape? I've attached a plan view picture of the shape I'm looking for. T.I.A for the help.

I guess what I'm really trying to do here is get rid of the ledge part. As I want this to be flush on the exterior.

Looking on how I can adjust the thickness of this? I used a fixed door with glass slab but it's limiting it to a 4" thickness. Would like to have a 7" thickness. T.I.A for the help.
-
I just noticed you used rafter when you did this. Can I continue with using rafters even though the renovation will be with trusses? Or what is the best way to transfer back to the use of trusses?
-
Thank you for the roof notes. I did not catch that cricket.
-
Thanks for the help everyone! Good to know for future, that it is something you have to manually do.
-
Hmm okay I did the fixed door for each block but it's only allowing me to have a max of 4" thickness. I've attached a photo what I got, but not sure how to make it full wall thickness?
-
Yes, nothing happened for me when I did that.
