Does anyone know what setting would affect how minute your line movement can get? I am always having this issue of CAD lines/shapes snapping farther than I want them to go. I have messed with all of my snapping settings and it had made no difference. Please help because this is driving me crazy! See example of my problem in the video attached. Any suggestions on how to draw these ceiling details? I was trying to use tray ceilings and it was really working for the outer most details. I was wondering about soffit, but with the angled corners I didn't think that would would very well. I am trying to get the crown molding to work with all of this also, with no success... Some suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Premiere X16

"Painterly" Lines on Physically Based Renders

No difference, unfortunately. It's also across files. I attached another render from a separate project. -

I had the sunlight at default, and the backdrop intensity pretty high, but I've messed in both directions with the levels and it made no difference. -
I have been practicing my rendering technique recently, but now for whatever reason all of my edges are super murky/blurry. I'm not sure why this is happening, so any suggestions would be helpful. I attached pictures of my renders + my camera/rendering settings. I'm on Premier x16.

Ways to make more furniture piece type islands with the cabinet tool?
HCremodel replied to HCremodel's topic in General Q & A
Wow! Thanks so much, @Renerabbitt & @MarkMc! Both of you were very helpful! I ended up kind of using a mix of both of your techniques. It definitely took me longer than 8 minutes! Lol but now that I've got it kind of figured out, it'll go much faster next time. @RenerabbittThanks for the Video! That was really handy to walk through everything! -
Oh whoops! Thanks for the heads up. I actually just discovered the issue, and it was quite dumb. First, I was actually using a straight half-wall, and the railing option was enabled. Thanks for your help on this though!

I've been trying to draw a client's existing space and there are barn doors in pony walls. However, when I have tried placing my barn doors the top of the wall get cut out. I have no clue why this would be happening, so please help. I am using Premier X16.

I have multiple computers that I use for my job, a laptop, home office desktop and office desktop. It drives me nuts if I need to work on a design from more than one computer because all of the textures I have are associated with the computer and not the project file. So if I have been working predominantly on one computer, every custom texture I imported is lost if I use another computer. Is there a was to transfer texture data with the project file so it can be worked on from multiple computers? I work on windows 10 on each computer. I am currently using 15x(Beta) but this have been a consistent issue with older versions as well.

I have needed tom place stairs that go through a doorway on multiple occasions, and every time I try it would seem the program glitches and usually breaks the wall or the doorway so you can see the structural materials. The best solution I have found was placing two staircases on either side of the opening, but even that solution isn't perfect. Has anyone found a solution to this?? Am I doing something wrong? I feel like it's pretty common for stairs to go through openings, so it would seem odd to me if chief would not have an option for that.... I attached a picture of what I am encountering. I am using premier x13 beta, but this was also a problem in x12

I am trying to create a custom texture detail schedule that references an object's texture and displays the assigned texture image. Problem is, I am fairly inexperienced with Ruby/macro in general although I have a very basic understanding. Has anyone created something similar to this, or have suggestions on how to get started with creating this type of custom macro? I am using Interiors 12X
