  1. @solver that's exactly the video I was looking for many thanks.
  2. @solver yes i have but there is a piece of masonry between the door and window i'm trying to get rid of.
  3. Good Day, Does anyone know if there is a "Dutch" Door architectural block in the library? so I can modify the bottom and top height? I'm actually trying to create/model a full height door with a 24" rectangluar fixed window above but with No Masonry between the two - as it is actually an all in one PVC frame. see attached image - door is open but above is the fixed window. thanks! 4. Good Day, I'm trying to find a video demo uploaded by another member showing how to modify a curtain/drapery block to delete one of the panels so that I could get a single panel on one rod. It was super helpful and I would love help trying to find it again. Thanks, Jenn
  5. @nikiley sorry for the very late reply, i've just seen this. No I never was able to completely get rid of that gap, but I managed to get it down to 1/4". Did you ever find any solutions?
  6. @jlogan02 this is the one I keep going back to thank you - its super easy.
  7. @GaryOhmer thanks so much, I appreciate the suggestion will give that a try also.
  8. Hi @MarkMc, Is this a custom molding you created? The only crown molding in the library I can find close to the one you used (which looks exactly like what I need) is the CA-35 and that has a flat front. Many thanks!
  9. Good Day @SNestor, followed the steps which worked perfectly but I'm getting a gap between my wall and the tray ceiling. I've attached an image below of what's happening. Thanks for your advice.
  10. @SNestor this is amazing thank you! So easy when you know! I didn’t use the recess into the ceiling. Thank you so much for the straightforward and simple answer! I genuinely appreciate it, this definitely helps.
  11. @MarkMc thanks so much that’s a great suggestion I will give that a try. Thank you!
  12. Is there a way to create a Tray Ceiling without the cantilevered underside? I've been able to achieve something close to what I want by setting the initial trey ceiling width to 1" but it still shows a lip or ledge around the top of the wall. Also I'm trying to preserve my wall height. Meaning if my wall height is 94" and I want a tray that starts flush from that wall height and pitches in with no cantilevered lip. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions! Here is an image of the type of tray ceiling I'm trying to create in my 3D models.
  13. Hello hoping someone can advise me. I'm trying to find my way through X12 having used X3 for years. I've downloaded new product catalogues and I've selected a dining table and one of the new material wood swatches. For some reason, the material swatch is blurry and doesn't render correctly on the table. I've had to reduce the size of the swatch from the default 30" x 30" to 1/2" x 1/2" but it still doesn't look right. Is there some setting I have to switch on so the materials render at the correct scale on the furniture? Can anyone please advise? Thanks!
