Hi all, I am having trouble figuring out a framing 'buy list' or 'lumber package' for this plan. For example, it calls out a few 35' long 2x4 members - but as we know, this isnt really feasible. After reading the forums and watching the tutorials (over and over) I cannot seem to get a 'lumber yard ready package' In your expertise - how are you doing this? Looking for your guidance. Hi Chief Talk members, I have a chief architect file that I cannot open with my Home Designer Pro 2019 software. The customer support team at Chief Architect suggested I ask the helpful members in the community to lend a hand. I drew these plans by hand and had them digitized by a drafter. Once digitized, I purchased the software so I can edit my house as we continue to build. However, I am not able to open the plans from the drafter with my current version of the software. Could someone using Chief Architect X10 or older open this file, and change the plan setting to allow for editing in the home designer products and share the file with me?
