Any ideas on why my ceiling planes are only showing in some rooms? The Guest Bedroom & Office are supposed to have a single slope like the master bedroom. Flat ceiling is not selected. I've redrawn them both and they only show in plan but not in 3D or sections. Thanks Doehling-chieftalk.plan

Thanks, I got the terrain. I don't know why my doors are all showing on the walkout/basement level. The doors on level 1 of the plan are showing up on the basement level in elevation. Thoughts? Lierz deck renovation.plan

I am working on a deck renovation and am baffled as to why the elevation region for the walkout is moving the entire terrain down. I have the terrain at 2" below subfloor and the region at -96". Also, the sliding door and single door on the middle and right sections are showing at the basement level in 3D. They are supposed to be on the main level as shown in the plan. What am I missing? I want to expand and cover more in my contract. Anyone know of someone that specializes in contracts for the architectural design industry or sells a starting contract that can be edited? Also, has anyone registered a design for copyright? I did a little searching. If so, did you do it yourself or use one of the companies that helps? Thanks

I just updated my Mac laptop to macOS Sequoia 15.2. When I opened chief it said please activate your software. I clicked activate with current key. Then the first image below came up saying chief is currently active on another computer. I went to my digital locker in chief and clicked 'make available'. The second image below popped up saying click ok to make available for use on a different computer. I hit cancel. I have only used my chief key on this one laptop with a monitor. Why is chief saying it is active on another computer and what should I do to continue working without disrupting my current projects?

I am not sure why I can't get my foundation heights and interior ledge to show properly. I have 'hang floor platform above on wall' checked in the foundation wall defaults and I've also checked it in each of the individual wall specs as well as 'include ledger'. I am wanting an 11ft high stem wall. Also, in the room spec structure tab I cannot get the section to appear properly. I'm not sure why it is not working for me this time. Any thoughts?

What baffles me is two of the other railings on the porch are the correct height. I looked at a few section views of the porch and do not see another floor.

Is there a setting to adjust the height of a floating railing? I have tried dragging the stair side railing across and then breaking it, but the minute I break it the section shown floats. I've also tried drawing it from the column to the stairs and it still floats. I am not seeing a way in the elevation to select and lower. floating railing.pdf

The columns in my plan appear incorrectly in 3D. They are showing at the proper height but directly behind the proper location. I've had this happen before but not on every plan. I had to move them to take capture my 3D images and then back to their correct place for the plans. What could be causing this?Columns off.pdfporch plan.pdf
