  1. I found the parameters I needed and it worked. Thanks so much!
  2. I created a box bay window and know how to adjust a window component - size, frame, sill, etc. But how do you replace the window type with a window from the library? I have a fixed window component and want to replace it with a manufacturer's window with muntins. But when I tab to the window component, I cannot select the option to replace it with an item from the library. Any suggestions?
  3. Hi Doug, I love using Revit and there a number of features I wish we had in Chief. Chief has become my primary software of late. I have found more companies in the interior design community that use Chief Architect for remodels, cabinet plans, space planning, etc. So, I now use it more than Revit.
  4. Thank you. I'm still learning how to create layers to help make my life easier and drawings cleaner.
  5. Thank you. I will try working that method. And I will update my signature to inform fellow Chief users that I am a Premier 12 user. Appreciate the prompt help.
  6. Hi, I am a Revit user converting to Chief. When working with angled walls in Chief, I have not been able to lock a wall from moving when changing dimensions on connecting walls. I am familiar with how to use the directional tools to move an end of an object to adjust its dimensions. When angled walls are off-angle, I can waste significant time adjusting the lengths of the angled walls and still not achieve the dimensions I need for all connecting walls. The use case scenario is when I am drafting a plan using dimensions provided to me to create the build. Of course, if I was creating a plan from scratch, I could probably avoid this situation. Any suggestions?
