i figured out a work around; i just pulled the deck below out a bit (made it deeper) so the bay window isn't "resting" on top of the rail.

This is wall structure dialog box and the bay window dialog box. Thank you for your help! This is driving me crazy.

How do I stop the walls on a bay window from going all the way down to the railing? (See picture) I need the walls to stop just above the roof- as it has been done in real life (see picture). --Becky ChiefX10 Windows10 Pro
