  1. Hi all. when I use text, a lot of times I need an arrow to point to what I am describing. I really like using the curved arrow. When setting my defaults, I want my curved arrow to be on the same layer as my text. The problem that I have is the default layer for the curved arrow is tied to a cad layer. I want to separate the curved arrow only to the text layer of my choosing. If I set the arrow to my text layer, then all the cad items come with it. i.e. cad drawn items will now be on the text later as well. Right now, I use the curved arrow, once drawn, manually change that 1 arrow to the text layer. I have not found a way to separate the curved arrow from the cad layer. Does anyone know how to achieve the results I am looking for?
  2. I created a new wall, added a layer with batt insulation. When I do a materials list, it will not calculate the insulation batts for the wall. I created another wall, changed the stud part of it to insulation with studs. When I do a material list, it shows insulation for that wall in sq ft, not batts, but it will not calculate the studs. How can I get the stud count and insulation count to properly display in th materials list? I am using chief 10
