  1. I have been looking for this topic but can't find it. I am wondering what is the best computer I can buy (with everything I need) to run Chief at its maximum capacity? I currently have a Surface Pro (can't remember which model but it is a few years old) that runs Chief Architect Premier X11 but it lags, has black out screen moments, won't record walkthroughs successfully and never has finished a Ray Trace. I have been told maybe I need to update the video card but I would like another computer that I know can handle it and use this computer for other purposes. I also have been told a gaming computer is good. But which one? What about a Mac? I would like suggestions of computers models that I can buy this weekend please. Thank you! Niki
  2. Thank you! I did import the defaults but you are correct only the things set to Default will change. I have lots to learn. :-)
  3. I can’t find this answer! Please help!! :-) We just purchased CA 11 and opened an old plan (originally built in Home Designer). I then imported a template I worked on all morning. Is there a way to magically change the plan already built to all those default settings in the template or do I need to go in and change every single one (sometimes that doesn’t even work after you’ve built it) or just redraw? I tried copying and pasting the plan into a “New Plan” opened with the template but that didn’t work either. Sorry if this is a silly question. Thanks in advanced’
