  1. Eric, No changes to the door labeling, still set up for automatic labeling.
  2. Thanks Eric, I did that but all it did was remove the callout. Joey, That is what I am looking for but I cannot seem to figure out how to use the label as the identifier.
  3. I have a client that would like to see the door opening size listed on the floor plan in lieu of the Schedule callout number. What is the best (easiest) way to do this? Can we pull other info from the door schedule such as info from the Label column or R/O column?
  4. Right hand sc reen shot - How do I get rid of the drywall under the stair landing? Left hand screen shot - I have a cabinet under the landing but the drywall is showing through an opening in the cabinet.
  5. Thanks Chopsaw that was it. Didn't know about that adjustment.
  6. Can anyone explain why the two different type of boxed eaves are showing up on my plan? My Client would like the type shown on the Garage View. I have reviewed the Roof Plane Specifications and they appear to be the same.
  7. That is the basis of what I am looking for just trying to recreate the attached and thought there may be a way of doing this within the cabinet specification.
  8. Just a basic valance under a cabinet over a stove. The cabinet will house the vent hood.
  9. Is there a way to add a cabinet valance from the wall cabinet specification?
  10. Thanks Everyone for your responses. As requested I am including some pictures of different views and hopefully a little more explanation. As you can see in the Perspective framing overview and the Perspective floor overview there are walkout walls and foundation walls that have exterior finishes. The Perspective Framing Overview is in the 3D Framing Set and the Perspective Floor Overview is in the Camera View Set. When I did the Foundation Plan View I changed to the Foundation Set and as imagined turned off the layers i did not want to see. In this view (Foundation Plan View) I have the following layer sets checked: Footings Footings, Deck Posts Footings, Post Foundation Walls, Foundation Walls, Main Layer Only I went back to all of the wall types I am using to make sure that the Exterior layers, main layer and interior layers are separated. As you can see in the Foundation Plan View I am still seeing the wall interior and exterior layers and the plan is not showing the walkout wall footers. (This maybe is where I need to create the footers for the walkout walls as pony walls)? What I am trying to achieve is a foundation view like @robdyck showed. Hope this additional info helps.
  11. I am trying to create a foundation plan in a 3d view but when the walls are shown they are also showing interior and exterior wall layers. I have checked Walls, Main Layer Only and unchecked Walls, Layers on the active layer display but that does not seem to work. Any thoughts? Note: This is a walkout on one end, that is why some exterior wall layers are showing.
  12. That did it Thanks. I was trying to do it after I had already done the CAD to walls work.
  13. Thanks Chopsaw, I assume I am doing something wrong. When I highlight the entire drawing or just a portion of it and go to Transform/Replicate the resize area is grayed out.
  14. I am sure this is CA 101 but how do I change the scale of an imported .dwg file? I imported the file and the dimensions are double what the room size should be.
  15. Eric, I did what you suggested and went back and watched a video on creating polyline solid and figured it out. Thanks for your help.
  16. Below is a couple of views of the sloped wall and ramp. All I want to do is match the wall cap of the wall at the landing (short wall to the right on the "sloped wall" view) to the sloped wall. When I sloped the top of the wall by adding edit corner angles is when the wall cap went away.
  17. Thanks Eric... I am fairly new to this software and learning as I go. I will try adding the stair but if I need to add the cap with the solid where is the best step by step for that. I tried creating the solid but could not get it to follow the angle/slope of the wall. I am sure it is something easy I am missing.
  18. I have created a railing wall next to a ramp and then added a wall break to change the angle of the top of the wall to match the ramp slope. When I did this I lost the wall cap. Did I do this right and if so how do I retain or add back the wall cap? I am working in ver X10.
