I've watched all the training videos I can find on walkthrough paths and I'm continuing to have issues with the speed slowing down on curves and turns. The curves I'm currently dealing with are minor and still seem to slow way down. Any idea what I can do to fix this beyond?

I have a property that I am selling. About 72acres.
I am looking to show, potentially, 5-6 homes on the subdivision in a rendering to help sell the lot.
I am also considering showing the rendering as a Retirement Mobile Home Community. This will be 100 units, but very simple boxes.
Just wondering if anybody here has had experience with this type of work? When I search, I just get hits for companies that perform the work, but not actual guidance or software used.
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Did you end up doing this subdivision rendering? If so, what method did you use? I'm working on my first subdivision.

You might want to provide a screen shot comparison so that others can respond or at least let us know what rendering technique you are using and where you are observing the blur.
There are known issues but your observations are important.
Cravors posted 2 comparing images that are exactly what I am noticing on my renderings.

I recently upgraded to premier x13 and now my 3d renderings are slightly blurry. Anyone have an idea how to fix this or is this a problem with the upgraded system?

What's missing from your wall?
It seems you have changed the Interior-4 wall from it's default.
I have and not sure what I did that cause the floors not to connect. I will restore default and see what I did. Thanks.

Open Below?
Court?
What have you tried?
I tried court and unspecified. I unselected roof and foundation with no luck. Doing open below didn't even cross my mind. I just tried that and unselected roof and it worked! Thank you!

I'm needing to create a grassy courtyard that is completely surrounded by house and covered patio. The house and patio will be on a monolithic slab. How can I go about creating this cutout in the foundation? I've manipulated the room type settings without much luck.

Curious, are the plumbing fixtures on the foundation level? If so simply turn on the fixtures layer to show them in position. If not then a reference layer SHOULD give you what you want as has been suggested a couple times. Have you figured this out yet? Do you understand ref layers? Perhaps post a plan and the smart guys can offer more help.
Also curious about how you generated the image you posted?
The image is from a plan someone sent me.
My plumbing fixtures are on their floor levels. If I turn the reference layer on I am not able to get dimensions to those plumbing fixtures and I get more than just plumbing fixtures from the reference layer. Maybe I do not understand reference layers. I am currently watching some video on them to see if that helps. -

A simple way would be to have your plumbing fixtures on their own layer and define those layer settings for your foundation plan. The same would be true for a main floor framing plan. This starts messing a few things up from a layer control standpoint, like the lav in a base cabinet.
My personal preference would be to use labeled CAD blocks representing only the necessary waste lines that penetrate the slab, footing, or walls.
Is this more or less what you are suggesting? This is how my current foundation plans look. I do not do measurements, just outlines for tub/shower plumbing and they use the floor plan to get their measurements from.

I'm not finding anything that is giving me what I'm looking for. I only see how to use reference floors and that is not my need, unless I am not reading things correctly.
I'd like to display the plumbing and pull dimensions and print with those images displayed.

It will print fine but displays at a lower resolution to save on system resources. If you want to view it in layout at a finer resolution select the layout box and zoom in and then hit refresh and things will be much clearer but slower. Or use plot lines for you section views rather than live views.
Using plot lines worked. Thank you!

When sending the cross section view to layout it appears blurry in the layout. How can I resolve this?

With all due respect to Mick and the others that are tossing out ideas, simply turn this job down unless you own a copy of AutoCAD that you can do this in.
The file that you have there is "Paper Space" it looks like, not the plan file. There are a couple different ways you can manipulate that file, none are quick, and none are easy.
If you take this job you will end up paying the client.
Agreed. I've turned it down.

IMO Chief is ill-suited to straight-up 2D condocs using nothing but CAD tools. If you plan on only modifying the 2D, then I'd use AutoCAD or another robust 2D CAD platform with which you're proficient - unless the revisions are very minor. Otherwise, model the project in Chief to leverage its abilities to quickly develop elevations, sections, etc.
That's how I'm feeling as well. Thanks for your input.

I'm not needing to do 3D work with this, just modify the 2D.

I have Premier x11 software.
I have a client that is wanting modifications done to a plan purchased elsewhere created on unknown software. He has the DWG file and when I import I get the entire plan on one level (picture below). Is there a way to work with this or should I have them reach out to someone else. They do not want me to redraw the plans, which would be my solution.

Hum I've updated and am still not seeing it.

they are there in 21.1.1.2 , you may need to update you library catalogs? I hadn't noticed them before this post though...
the textures should be in the Referenced Files Folder inside the CoreCatalogFiles Zipfile eg:.
C:\ProgramData\Chief Architect Premier X11\Referenced Files\CoreCatalogFiles.zip#zip:Mixed Aurora.jpg
M.
I've updated my software, how do I go about updating the catalog? I just assumed that updated with the software.

I've lost my material patterns when going to Cross Section/Elevation view. I'm sure it's a simple solution, but I can't figure it out. How can I get my patterns back in this view?
I'm using Chief Architect Premier x11.
Walkthrough Path Slow on Turns

I have the keyframes set at the same speed, this is why I'm so puzzled. The straight paths are great, but any turns they slow.
