Did the exact same thing but I don't want the footings to go above grade level. -

So are you using slab holes with footings? -

How do you actually do that in chief? Is there a slab footing tool? -
Currently, to get a foundation beam/footing, I draw a wall and ensure the foundation wall specification check box is checked. In Houston, we are using waffle foundation footings. In addition to the exterior foundation footing/beams, we are building interior foundation footings/beams not necessarily under a wall. I need to manually draw waffle foundation/footings using foundation walls without the walls showing up above grade level messing up my plan.. However, I'm unable to control the height and wall elevation from 0 unless I go to an elevation or 3d and grab the top of the wall to bring it down. Please don't tell me this is a manual process and I have to use polyline solids. Thank you for your help.

Yes. How was it fixed?

Thank you for this Video. Exactly what I needed. !!!!!

Yes, I know but a lot of designers draw foundation plans.

Thank you. I'm referring to the number of beams. These do not line with the number of walls. As for the tables, I'm looking for how to figure out how many beams are required. Tipically, foundational beams are placed under walls. This is just a grid of beams.

What is the technical name of this foundation? I know it's slab on grade but I'm mainly trying to understand why so many beams are required. These do not line up with walls. I concerned about the cost to my clients for concrete. ( See attached picture) What tables do you use to draw a foundation similar to the this one ( See attached picture) By tables I mean, for example, a beam span chart? is there some similar for this type of foundation?

I reinstalled and restarted. How can I verify the file exists?

I'm getting the following error message and I do not know how to fix it. I was trying to change the direction of the floor.
