i thought that the view that comes up where you can see the tile patern was the render view? i have just done a raytrace and yes the mirrors do show up,so how do i do a render veiw? and how do you get the mirrors to show up in a walkthrough ? which i have made and they dont show up. thanks

when i select material as" mirror" i dont get a mirror finish , i just get a purple colour. how can this be fixed?

i have drawn a shower screen by using a 1/2 wall and changing it to glass ,the problem i have is that when i tile the walls the screen changes to tiles as well . how do i stop this ?

ok i am very new. how do i import the catalogs? and a more pressing question , i have drawn a glass screen in for my shower,now when i use the eye dropper to tile my walls the screen gets tiled as well. i know the glass screen is just a wall and i have tried using wall break. thanks

i am looking where to find bath catalogs,in the download catalogs but there are no bathtubs, there isnt as many catalogs as i thought there would be only 4 to do with bathrooms . do i need to look somwhere else? thanks for your help

yes i am new.i am getting frustrated. i am in australia and not having the ability to pick up the phone and ask a question or knowing anybody using chief is making it hard to learn.Couple this with the fact that i have never used a cad package,limited computer knowlege, and 3 homes to design sitting on my desk . 1st from what have been able to produce so far the system is very good. can i come onto this forum and ask lots of questions? can you tell me how to recess a wall cb into the wall for a shaving cb? can you tell me how to send / email pictures to clients? can you tell me how to put logo and info on layout page? or if you know of a video a link. i have searched. thankyou
