Hello,
I am still learning this software and I am wondering how I can remove the additional dashed lines and walls that pop up on the floor plan after roof planes are created?
I have attached a picture and circled the dashed lines as a reference. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Shonna Johnson

Maybe -- If you post the plan file.
It isn't perfect yet, but we are trying to get it well enough to have a 3D view

I am pretty new with working with the terrain feature. I have tried using the elevation region tool as seen in the walk out basement terrain training video, but I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. Can someone help?
Thank you! Plan attached

It's your wall definition. Your siding is set to a 0" thickness. Make it correct to fix the problem.
I noticed this on another plan recently -- one that was posted here or HomeTalk.
Thank you guys for the help!! I appreciate it so much!!

Can't figure this out either. You can always drag the walls down in 3D but I don't know why those walls will not build the siding down to the top of the foundation.
Yes, I will try the auto-return! Thank you!
I have that space missing on another home plan I am currently working on as well. It has never done that before.

What is "level out"? do you want a lower sloped roof there?
Best to post the plan file for questions like this.
Yes for the roof, I want to start where the edge of the gable is under the dormer and cover the ceiling plane above the porch area.
Attached the plan.

David,
I shared it a few posts ago as rebuild.plan
But I got it all figured out, thank you for your suggestions!
Eric,
Thank you, I ended up deleting the file and restarting it and I got it all fixed up. Thank you for your help!

That did not change anything. I even tried deleting the foundation and rebuilding it. The front and back of house comes up 40' but the sides are still off by a tad?
-
I got the 40' to match up by changing settings, but the sides of the house have not changed.
-
Where do I find that setting?

Hello,
I am trying to build the foundation automatically and when I build it and put dimensions on it, the dimensions are smaller than my main floor design. How do I get the dimensions to be the same as the floor above? I will attach pictures. Previously, I have not had this issue. But now it is doing this.

Is there a way to put wall brace panels automatically in a floor plan?

That is a new feature in X10 I believe. What version was the video done in ?
It was X10. So it isn't available to see in X9?

I have watched the tutorial video for finding the material off the material list in your plan. When I click on the material and went to the bottom toolbar to hit find in plan button it was not there. Is the button elsewhere for Chief Architect Premier X9??

Hello!!
I am trying to figure out how to adjust the rise angle of a pair of stairs. I have stairs in and they do not reach the next level. Can anyone help me? Also, I have set up the signature but not sure how to get it to show when I post. I am using Chief Architect Premier X9.
Roof gap/Missing siding

Hello,
I am still learning this program, but have come across an issue I am having trouble with.. When we done the roof and got it just about how we want it, the side profiles are missing the siding. I have posted a picture as reference. I am using Chief Architect Premier X12.
