  1. Hello,

I am still learning this program, but have come across an issue I am having trouble with.. When we done the roof and got it just about how we want it, the side profiles are missing the siding. I have posted a picture as reference. I am using Chief Architect Premier X12.

  2. Hello,

I am still learning this software and I am wondering how I can remove the additional dashed lines and walls that pop up on the floor plan after roof planes are created?

I have attached a picture and circled the dashed lines as a reference. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

  3. How do I get the siding to show up on in the gable? See attached pictures.. Also, what is the best way to align the eyebrows along the front?

    Thanks in advanced..

  4. I am pretty new with working with the terrain feature. I have tried using the elevation region tool as seen in the walk out basement terrain training video, but I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. Can someone help?

    Thank you! Plan attached

The dormer seems to be incorrect, so I deleted and redid. You can use a Full Return to auto build them.

Is this porch roof like you want?

I did not see the problem with the space above the foundation wall looking quickly.

Can't figure this out either. You can always drag the walls down in 3D but I don't know why those walls will not build the siding down to the top of the foundation.

Yes, I will try the auto-return! Thank you!

I have that space missing on another home plan I am currently working on as well. It has never done that before.

  6. David,

I shared it a few posts ago as rebuild.plan

But I got it all figured out, thank you for your suggestions!

    Eric,

Thank you, I ended up deleting the file and restarting it and I got it all fixed up. Thank you for your help!

  7. Hello,

I am trying to build the foundation automatically and when I build it and put dimensions on it, the dimensions are smaller than my main floor design. How do I get the dimensions to be the same as the floor above? I will attach pictures. Previously, I have not had this issue. But now it is doing this.

  8. I have watched the tutorial video for finding the material off the material list in your plan. When I click on the material and went to the bottom toolbar to hit find in plan button it was not there. Is the button elsewhere for Chief Architect Premier X9??

  9. The green check mark is where the door opens for the staircase not the one with the red x. First picture is the stairs before the "make best fit" option and the second is a different view of the make best fit.

Click the Make Best Fit button.

I have tried this and it goes way beyond where I want it to be. I will post pictures in a few.

  11. Hello!!

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the rise angle of a pair of stairs. I have stairs in and they do not reach the next level. Can anyone help me? Also, I have set up the signature but not sure how to get it to show when I post. I am using Chief Architect Premier X9.
