  1. Hmm. Not sure I get what your proposing solver. The dormer tool works to make it (just have to break the roofline in front). Are you saying there is an easier way??
  2. I am having a problem breaking the main roof to incorporate main wall and dormer wall. I broke the roof on 5 other dormers, but when copying dormer to adjacent wall and trying to break main roof to slide back to wall, I get an error message and a lot of problems.
  3. Chief 58, I've noticed that in order to set the main roof back to the wall after a break, I need to be sure to break well inside the dormer area. I haven't even thought about connecting the gable dormer valley to the facia of main roof. I'm on a Mac so the keys may be a little different. Am I making this harder than it should be? Is there an easy way to do this. How would you connect the dormer valley to the facia? Mike
  4. Yes, but we only get to set one width for all. An easy variance would be cool.
  5. It worked Chopsaw! Took me a bit, but I got it. Yes, it appears at the bottom after the block is made an then window selected. The key is to add no lites in the Open Object dialog (otherwise divides the difference in a weird way) and just draw what you want on the glass and then load muntins. A great help. Thank you. Now if they could just design it so we can add muntins at different thicknesses. And thank you too Solver!
  6. Thanks chopsaw. However, I have no idea where the load muntins tool is. I typed in search box and nothing came up. Also, drawing lines on glass is good for elevations, but doesn't show up on perspective camera views. Guessing that's why one must "Load Muntins".
  7. How do I move muntins freely. Is there a way like modifying cabinets?
