Larry, I was able to open your AC file. Something is really off in that all of your text is about a mile in size, maybe even more. Yes, you have to zoom way out in order to see it all because of the text. Andy's file opens up correctly but the problem there is that all of Chief's layers are now in the drawing. Tell your surveyor that the first thing for him to do when he opens it up is to purge the drawing. That will get rid of all the chief stuff.
