  1. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try.
  2. Well (he says sheepishly)........ Mr. Carrick, YOU ARE THE MAN!!! I used a third-party pdf printer a while back and set the dpi to 1200. After reading your post, I went back and changed the printer to the internal Chief printer and set the dpi to 600. After printing with these settings, its now 8,287 KB! Thanks Joe!!!!
  3. I have a project that was created in X16 and when printed as a pdf the file size was 9,631 KB. I've revised the project in X17 just adding a few notes, dimensions and 4 short CMU walls. When I print this in X17 as a pdf the file size has swollen to 48,692 KB!! The pdf file is now so large I can't email it to my client. Has anyone else run into this and if so, have you discovered a workaround?
  4. Hey guys! I just wanted to thank you for adding the dimension leader option! It's exactly what I was needing! Arigato!
  5. You will need to keep in mind that with ICF's wall openings are framed with pressure treated 2x's. These serve as a concrete stop as well as a surface to attach the windows and doors to. Your openings will have to be 3" larger than the rough opening specified by the window / door manufacturer. With all of that being said I would make the ICF's a minimum of 12". This will also allow a bit of room to get your rebar installed and maintain 3" concrete coverage over the bars.
