  1. @Dermot OOOH thanks. I usually go straight to articles when I have issues, but didn't think they would have an article on this. Thought it was just me having this issue. Wasn't aware it was an "option" introduced in X8 and so forth. Thanks.
  2. @Renerabbitt ye it does however some lines are still missing when I send to print.. Some days when I send to layout, it shows perfectly with the right line weights and all cad lines shown ( these are my lucky days) however most of the time it shows blurry elevations and missing lines. Frustrating.
  3. Why do my elevations turn out blurry and some lines missing when I send them to layout? What can I do to prevent that?
  4. @DavidJPotter Can i see one of your ray tracing, that took 10 passes. Im really interested to see it.
  5. What would be an ideal Ray Trace time to get a good hd quality image? I am ray tracing a room right now, its at pass 245, 8:24 hours. The image looks good already, however when I zoom in it gets pixelated. Will that be no matter how long the ray trace goes? I put in a high res on ray trace dbx. How long do you guys leave your ray trace going?
  6. Thank you @MarkMc I forgot to say I use x8. I will try with the instructions you gave and the image settings you gave. Thanks

  10. @Rich_Winsor Also your camera view looks spot on. My camera views always stretch the side walls and make the windows, doors and whatever on the walls to be really stretched. Can you please tell me the settings you used for the camera view? Thank you!!
  11. @Rich_Winsor OH MY!!! This looks incredible!! My ray trace looks 100 times worse. This looks so good compared to mines! Is it possible if you could post screenshots of all your settings that you used to create this ray trace? I also need a master bath that I need to ray trace and need some guidance to achieve what you have. I would really appreciate it and be very grateful!! Thank you!!

  16. johnny, they don't offer a V-ray for chief? Right? MarkMc, my field of you is 50, which i always use because that is the best that I could do to have what I want in the picture.
  17. Hi, I need to render a kitchen and a master bath, however my renderings turn out really "fake". It doesn't look as real as I want it to be. the camera view always stretches the walls and my doors and windows look stretched. Is there a setting that I can do to create the camera views more realistic? Seems like I tried everything, but haven't figured it out yet. Also, any rendering tips that make it look more realistic? The two camera views, do you notice how the refrigerator is stretched out and the fireplace wall as well? Also, do you see the white line where the ceiling breaks with the wall, how do I get rid of that? The ray traces - the lighting is too bright, I tried to lower the intensity, but it would either remove the light completely, or still be as bright. And the materials look bleh, maybe I am applying the materials the wrong way? I know its fuzzy, I turned off ray trace earlier. I didn't like how it was turning out.
