My wife and I have been working on plans to build our dream 1.5 story home on some water front property in Deep East Texas. It is rural so local resources are hard to find. I have Home Designer Pro 2021 and have been working on several iterations of the project, but it is no where near buildable so I am hopeful I can hire someone to get the plan to a buildable phase.
I am an armature in Colorado, kind of forced into designing the house for my wife and myself due to lack of skilled resources in my area.
