  1. I have the floor surfaces layer turned on. I can see the texture in the material definition. Why won't the texture show up on the floor plan?
  2. I am trying to modify the value for the Label component. See the highlighted blue box. I cannot edit this. I am using X15.
  3. How do I change my architectural block defaults so that the "display bounding box" is off as my default? I currently go into each architectural block and turn off the "display bounding box" for each block I create. I've looked through Chief Help and can't find this answer. Premier X14.
  4. Eric, thank you for the video. The way I had previously made holes was to grab a square and convert it to a polyline solid hole. I see that all of this has changed. Your way works!
  5. Won’t work on either of my computers in X13 or X14. My computers exceed what is needed by X14. My software is up to date. I am still on Windows 10. The Create Hole feature worked in X12. I guess I need to send my plan into Tech Support.
  6. Hey, is anyone having problems in X13 and X14 with not being able to create a hole in a backsplash or in a material region? I’ve tried making sure I create the hole in the same view that I create the region but that isn’t helping. Then I tested creating a hole in various 3D views, sections, and elevations. Deleted and recreated backsplashes and material regions. None will let me create a hole anymore. What is up? This is how I created tile borders, decorative tile inserts, etc in the past. By creating holes and insetting poly line solids or other regions, I was able to adjust alignment, create patterns, and still have everything in he same plane without one material showing through the other in 3D views.
  7. I am using Chief X12. I have "Rotate Text With Plan" checked everywhere I can find it. Regardless of whether I rotate my plan using Rotate Plan in Tools or if I rotate it manually on my layout, my text does not rotate. How can I fix this?
  8. OMG! Michael, I have spent years looking for this solution. It fixed it. I am so thrilled. Woohoo!!!! Thank you.
  9. How do you get the 2D symbols in the electrical legend to show up at the same size that they are in the plan (or a size that is desired)? Is there a way to control the size of the 2D symbols in electrical legends? The 2D symbols come in so large that they blow the legends right off the page. If I scale the legend down, the text becomes illegible.
