    New to posting to the forum but have referred to it for years. I agree with most of Rabbit's comments. My rub is the date change for SSA renewal. It caused me to miss the renewal deadline and forced me to only have the subscription route available. If Chief sent an email about the date change, I did not receive it. Why the date change? Each year my SSA renewal was mid to late February. Without notice, it suddenly moved to mid-January which I missed. I love the software, but I also believe a more secure way of ensuring everyone affected by such an impactful change is informed rather than finding out when you try to renew. If a company spends their time and money to develop a product, they deserve to be compensated. But the consumer also has to right to expect that company to honor their commitments (legacy renewals) and to not change the process without notice and to not cause confusion.

    I was/am having issues with all room heights on floor 1 changing when I change the height of "one" room. After reading where others had the same issue because of the second floor being designated as "attic", I deleted the second floor and rebuilt the second floor as a blank plan. After drawing the walls for the bonus room over the garage, I cannot select to bonus room to open its definition. All walls are connected to form a room. Thoughts?

    I have an foundation wall consisting of 8" cmu with a 4" brick veneer. For some unknown reason the brick veneer is 8" below the top of the CMU in perspective view. If I manually extend the veneer to match the CMUs, the wall default goes away and the sills won't generate. Is there a setting that is controlling the brick veneer?
