I was wondering if there is a way to save the setup for a cabinet schedule or any schedule for that matter and use it for all of my other plans. Whenever I am in a new plan I have to recreate the cabinet schedule for what I want shown, the size, etc... I tried to search this topic but didn't come up with anything. Thanks

Thanks for input and yes I did it finally and upgraded to Premier.

Great thank you!!

Why is it that shelves and partitions do not show up in the cabinet schedule? Seems like it should be easier than it is? Am I missing something? I went through the exercise of trying to save it as a cabinet door/drawer symbol but then it wouldn't let me place it in the plan without having a cabinet to place it into. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to show me how to do that! Can I then save that to my library and import it into a CAD Detail in my plan?

Do I have CAD Detail From View on X9 Interiors? I am unable to find it.

Thanks would you tell me how to get to the "CAD Detail From View" I opened up a section view and tried to put the cabinet in the CAD detail but it wouldn't let me.

Is there a way to adjust the depths of drawer boxes in a specific cabinet. I want to show in a section view a shallow drawer box to accommodate an outlet. Thanks for any tricks in achieving this.

There are quite a few times that I need to make the bottom or top rail on a cabinet door larger. Is there a way to do this without having to rebuild as a custom cabinet door? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Mark thanks for attaching that plan it was very helpful. I am going to put this in the suggestion box for CA because it would be great if there was an easier way to achieve this. Have a great weekend!

I have searched everywhere to find a video or explanation as to how to do paneled appliances to match the cabinetry. I want to be able to have the appliance in the fixture schedule and the panel in the cabinet schedule. Could someone point me in the right direction or send me a video link. I feel like I'm definitely missing something because it shouldn't be that difficult to do. Thanks!!

Thanks for taking the time to post of all of these great ideas. I used the platform method and it's exactly what I was looking for.

Is there a way to recess one side of the toe kick when it isn't up against another cabinet? I have a cabinet next to a range and I want to recess the toe kick on the side opposite the range only. If I uncheck flat sides for toe kick in the cabinet modification box it recesses both sides.

Both great suggestions. Thank you!!

I want to place CAD blocks that I've created in just a layout page but when I try and place it on a layout page from my library it is too big. These are details I don't want to see in my elevations so I'm trying to figure out how to save a CAD block to scale correctly in just the layout. I tried searching for this but nothing has come up and I've also watched a few videos but it hasn't helped. Thanks

Thanks Larry very helpful. I could have sworn that I played around with the invisible wall a few times but didn't have any luck. I can also see why people create two sets of plans when doing this. Thanks again for your time to look into this!! Have a great day.

I am using X7 and yes I did try turning on and off layers in the camera view but it is still showing. Would love to be able to remedy this so I don't have to create another file. Anyone else having any luck?

I am remodeling a bathroom and removing walls. I have created a wall "to be removed" so I can turn on and off the layer between my construction plan and new plan. Everything works well until I do a camera view. In the camera view the walls aren't showing but you can see in the floor and ceiling where the walls were. How do I correct this? Thanks!

I just set all of my cabinets to a flush inset and the separations at 0 so they look like frameless but are dimensioning to the face of the door on both plan view and elevation with the correct overhang of the countertop.

I started a new thread because I now understand the panels. This thread is about cabinet depths with doors and drawers. Maybe I'm not being clear with my question above?
-
This is a different topic concerning all base cabinets and how I want to show the depths of them in plan and elevations views.
-
Is there a way to show the actual thickness of the door in plan view. It gets a little convoluted when dimensioning the cabinet and countertops between the plan views and elevations. Say I set my base cabinet depth to the depth it is with the door so I can show it in plan view (24 7/8") but then when I do a elevation or section that dimension (24 7/8") is only showing that as the case depth and doesn't include the door. I guess I could change all of my cabinets to flush inset with 0 separations but was wondering if anyone had a better idea.
-
So I just changed what I already had to a flush inset door and set the separations to 0 and it worked really well. Thanks

I am trying to create a panel for the side of and island that extends back past the cabinet. I took a base cabinet and adjusted the dimension and made it 3/4" deep. It looks fine in the plan view but if I do an elevation or camera view it is showing the case and door and looks like a 1 1/2" panel. how do I remedy this so it is consistent in each view? Thanks!
