    thank you but I did that-zipped it and re-opened in home designer pro and nothing is editable. restarted and it is now working!! thank you

    Can I edit an imported plan from Chief Architect x8 in Home Designer Pro 2019. the defaults are not editable in home designer pro- ie- greyed out
