Hoff_Design 23 Posted June 4 Challenges for this project were modeling the large beams overhead and importing the machines at a polycount that would not crash the program. Each machine had a polygon count of over a million. I ended up using Lightwave 3D to import them and gut them, and was able to bring the count down to about 16k per machine, and kept the mapping regions for materials intact. I have not yet created or applied textures to them, but for this project that was not important. It was important that the scale and placement were correct and now we can arrange them in the space as needed. Link to comment
