We Are Looking For Chief Support Designer

We are looking for someone skilled in California Building Codes that is interested in working with us as a sub-contractor.

 

Profile:

 

·         Understands and has designed residential structures in seismic zones

·         Is interested in working on remodeling projects as opposed to new construction

·         5 plus years experience with such projects

·         Is interested in a long term, collaborative working relationship

·         We would provide approved floor plan sketches, existing condition information and jurisdiction information.  We would expect back a complete set of plans ready for submittal for a planning/building permit in various Silicon Valley jurisdictions.

·         Has references

·         Can provide examples of projects that prove competence

·         Interior design skills not required – Once a build permit has been issued, our internal design staff would handle selections, colors, finishes, etc, and would add those details to the permit set to create a production set.

·         Has excellent communication skills, and interacts well with our design staff as well as the structural engineers we use for our projects.
