gregdoksa
I'm currently working on a chapel with kind of quirky roof line. At one end of the building the ridge height is 27'8" for about 15' with 16/12 pitch while the rest of the roof is 21'10" ridge with 8/12 pitch. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out the correct approach to this. I have attached my chief drawing as well as 2 pdf drawings from powercad to show the look i'm trying to achieve. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chapel 3D.plan Chapel A-1 Floor Plan.pdf Chapel A-2 Elevations.pdf
HamlinBC
You need to draw the baseline of the 16/12 at an angle. Just FYI, but the A-1 plan is missing a line for the valley. I wish I could give you technicalities, but I just more or less kind of fiddled with it until I got the desired result. I'm sure there's probably a mathematical way you could figure it exactly.
