Look for an article soon to be published on SRC Designs web site. The subject matter is an in depth look at current building methodology (with main focus on foundations in the Houston metroplex) and how they compare to a hard look from outside the standard "box".  Anyone looking to build here will be astounded at what can be saved in construction costs and through long term maintenance scenarios.
