Moving everything from your desktop to your laptop

Why do we have to restore from backup into Chief Architect on a new laptop. I am over an hour into this process. Why couldn't you just make a copy of everything in your documents folder for X17 and paste in into your documents folder on the new machine. This process takes forever! I like the capabilities of managed mode, but all I really needed was my hotkeys and my toolbars to go measure an As-Built. I am hoping with X18 this will all be on the cloud to where we simply need to log into our account and we will have everything.
