I have a second floor bump out addition that will get beams and posts eventually, but am curious what I am seeing when looking from the underside. Even in a framing view I see this white layer, which hides when I deselect "floor surfaces" in the framing layer set. See the attached image. Any ideas? I see that the way I drew the addition made chief treat it as a catilever, and there is a cantilever underside material that is white. I can set that to "No Material", but... I now see that this is not framed as I want. Time to redraw. I think I need an invisible wall to make this addition attach properly to the original structure.
