Help with gambrel Eves

I have a gambrel room with the first pitch at 40:12 and the second 6:12. Using manual roof plans, I drew the 40:12 on the first floor and the 6:12 pitch on the second floor. However, I need to show an eve. but I cannot figure out how to get the facia to move out from the wall to get the soffit to show.

 

I tried boxed eves but it is not a box eve.

 

Any help on getting the soffit on this roof like the pictures?

This problem is usually caused by a lack of eave or soffit settings not being enabled. If you are using software like Chief Architect, you should ensure that options like "Use Soffit", "Boxed Eave" (if applicable), and sufficient overhang (e.g. 12" or more) are set in the roof slope settings.
