Redline Integration into Chief Architect Construction Documents

Summerwind Homes is seeking a skilled Chief Architect drafter to incorporate structural redlines into an existing set of architectural construction documents. The redlines were provided by a licensed engineering firm and include detailed framing adjustments, LVL beam specs, and IRC compliance notes.

Scope Includes:

• Updating wall framing, headers, and roof structures per redline markups

• Integrating General Structural Notes and IRC Table R602.3(1)

• Annotating changes with callouts for plan reviewers

• Exporting updated views to layout (.layout) file for permit submission

• Ensuring consistency across plan sheets and structural notes

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Chief Architect (X15 or newer preferred)

• Experience with structural detailing and residential construction

• Ability to interpret engineering markups and apply them accurately

• Bonus: Familiarity with Virginia building codes and permit processes
