Import problem DWG File X17

Hello, 

I just updated to x17, when I imported the file, it shows up on the plan. when I go to CAD to Walls and make changes to the DWG, I still don't have what I need. I have always used this guy to measure homes for me and provide a drawing. previous version I had x15 converted without issue. I think I may be doing something wrong but can't tell what the issue would be.  ANY help would be greatly appreciated. when I go into the CAD block management, I can't get the walls to show up on the plan view.
