Roof to Wall, Continuous Material

Hi All, 

 

I am wondering if anyone has any guidance or suggestions on how to recreate the cascading roof to wall transition? Also to create the look of the soffit carrying down as a solid piece and not separate from the roof to wall? Example image picture attached. Looking at the darker steel siding areas just to clarify.
