We're looking for a Residential Building Designer to join Legacy Builder’s Group! On-site in Cincinnati OH.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 per week, Monday thru Friday, In-Office

Work Location or Ability to Relocate: Cincinnati, OH 45242 (Remote position not available)

 

As a Residential Designer at Legacy Builders, you will collaborate on residential design projects, ensuring technical excellence and seamless customer experiences. Your responsibilities include preparing detailed architectural designs, managing project workflows, and ensuring compliance with local building codes. While customer interaction is part of the role, the primary focus is on residential structures, building construction and materials expertise.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or AIBD certification (No requirement for architect license; equivalent experience considered)
• Minimum 5 years experience with residential architecture and design (experience in Midwest USA is preferred)
• Experience with residential buildings, structures, assemblies, materials and details
• Proficiency in design software; Chief Architect (is preferred), others considered
• Proficiency in office related software; Word, Excel, Adobe
• Analytical skills to assess and recommend improvements in processes, tools, and methods for enhanced teamwork and customer experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and project management skills
