Design Firm Seeking Experienced Chief Architect Draftsperson - Hawaii County, Hawaii

 

Aloha Design & Build Services Inc. (ADBS) is looking for an individual proficient in Chief Architecture X14-15 (10+ years experience) with familiarity of 2018 IRC and IBC Codes and Coastal Design Work (CA, OR, WA, HI). 

 

Presently, we need someone that is able to assist in completion complete completion of design  for a 2 story resort quality living space. The Preliminary Design is near complete for a one story concept design, but we will be expanding the building into two stories. We will need this to also be modeled with structure in 3D as well. Structural engineering help will be provided and we will communicate with our Architect and Structural PE on this project. 

 

Off island is acceptable however, candidates must have reliable internet, good communication skills, ability to meet strict deadlines and some availability between 10 am - 5 pm HST for Design Review Zoom Meetings. 

 

Position Requirements:

• Chief Architect x14-15 Proficiency

• Extensive knowledge of Current Code Requirements for 2018 IRC and IBC Code

• Prior experience in Coastal Design Work (CA, OR, WA, HI or similar)

• Close attention to detail and reliability

• Good Communication Skills

• Reliable internet connectivity (100mbps+)

• Availability during the week between 10 am - 5 pm HST
