Shelf Ceiling Issue

I am having an issue with a shelf Ceiling. The opening for the shelf would need to be in the Walk in Closet instead of the hallway.

I've designated a Linen closet to have a plant shelf ceiling in which the backside has a lower ceiling to create a shelf for storage within the Walk in closet is is attached to. The room configuration is (Walk in Closet, Linen Closet, Hallway.) The Shelf occurs in the Hallway instead of the Walk in closet.
