Wall niche & pocket doors deleting wall

I'm using X13 and trying to put in a shower niche but its deleting the wall so its more of a pass through. I have adjusted the depth and haven't had this problem in the past so wondering what's changed. Same issue with pocket doors - the wall where the pocket door would return into is being deleted and is a pass through. I use both of these regularly as a kitchen and bath designer and can't figure out why this started happening! Any help is much appreciated!
