Interior measurement from door

Hey! SO I've never posted on here, please let me know if I'm doing this wrong. I think I messed up my settings though. In the past after I placed a door, I could click on the inside portion of that door and it would reference a measurement from an interior wall closest to that door. Now it references the outside of the nearest wall, which is not super helpful. Anyone know how I can get it to reference the inside wall again? 

 

Followup question: you know how when you click a wall, it gives dimensions from where you click? I would love for it to ONLY show me interior dimensions instead of exterior to exterior dimensions. If anyone knows this life hack as well I would be grateful. Thanks!
