Wacom Tablet problems with Mac?

Hi All,

 

Not long started the first project and decided to start using my Wacom Tablet in place of the mouse. It is behaving strangely so wondering if anyone else has the same/similar problem and if a fix is known.

 

Basically, the programme opens and the pointer follows the pen/tablet. When a point is selected the position freezes and moving the pen makes no difference. If I relocate to a different point and press, the selected point moves to the new one and freezes again. If I move the pen to outside the designer window it starts working again and follows correctly wherever I move it until clicked, at which point it freezes location etc.

 

Any ideas?

 

The device works fine with all other programmes

Running Mojave 10.14.1

I am also having this issue with high Sierra and home designer. Very annoying and support not interested.
