Problem with 2nd Story Balcony/Deck

I'm having the following problem with the balcony/deck for my "Main floor" which is over a walkout basement.  On floor 1, I created a balcony, and on floor 0 I created a deck.  However, I am still having the support posts/pilings showing up underneath my balcony and cannot find any way to get rid of these.  I also don't know how to put a deck edge around the balcony so that the support joists aren't showing.  See below:
