Hello all! I am designing a small rustic cottage based on a plan I came across online (Deer Run Cabin - http://houseplans.southernliving.com/plans/SL731). I have successfully implemented a gullwing roof but have a question about the interior roof plane (or celing plane).
In the open floorplan of the living/dining area, I don't want to see the gullwing angle, but have the upper pitch continue down to the side wall. Is there a way to do this? I have attached some photos. Please see image elevation3.jpg for the exact location of where I'd like to continue the interior roof plane downward.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Rick
