I had to restart my computer and it finally works again!! Thanks everyone for your feedback and comments!

Also, it will allow me to copy/paste any block within the plan, but just not text. Thoughts anyone?

My warning message says: Paste failed: No recognizable data on the clipboard

Thanks Joe for responding! I just looked at that and all looks good. I also tried "all on set" just in case and nothing.....still stumped and its preventing me from hitting a major deadline!

I've been using Chief for over 5 years and I've never experienced this problem. I'm trying to simply copy words of text to copy around the plan ex. "carpet" and it will copy the text, but will not allow me to paste the text. I've opened new drawings as well and this function isn't working either in that plan. This makes me think that I've accidentally changed a setting??? Very confused!!!!! Help!!
