Thanks for your suggestions! but I've changed my mind about how to cover the pass-through. The photo shows the dining room side, I will remove the back of the opening for access to the kitchen and design a panel covering that will fold down to form a shelf on the sill for bar seating on the dining room side. I'm creating a pass-through window from the kitchen to the dining room and need assistance to add a vertical tambour door/shutter. Also, how do I widen the window sill to 20 inches? Thanks for any tips.
