  1. I work in IT and have a designer that runs Chief and AutoCAD simultaneously. He has a higher end system (I don't have the exact specs right now, but it easily meets both ChiefArchitect and AutoCAD's minimum specs) but it occasionally freezes. I suggested to him that he only run one of these programs at a time, to try to narrow down what the problem might be, but that isn't something he wants to do. I've been asked to spec him out a new computer that should handle this better, but I'm not sure that throwing higher powered hardware at it will solve the problem. Is anyone out there running both ChiefArchitect and AutoCAD simultaneously? If so what sort of computer are you running them on?
