  1. Easier to set up than my spot lights, but is comes at a cost. Using 75 point lights vs my 250 spot lights and the render time more than doubled. As well I have a small light shelf vs. the large ones in the example video, so you still see the "origin" of the lights, meaning that I would still have to add a lot more lights to not get that effect.
  2. I will try that, should save me from having to use as may lights. Thanks Johnny!
  3. Thanks Hamlin. I am okay with how it looks, but was hoping for some suggestions on a way to achieve this look with out using so many lights. I have over 250 lights illuminating the soffit!
  4. I am new to the raytracing world. Anybody have any suggestions on how to improve my LED lighting in a soffit. I am using spotlights 4" o.c. I think the results are descent but man dose it use a lot of lights!
  5. I was not using auto bay. But I did figure it out. Two things going on. The first was that even though "Use interior casing" was unchecked the default numbers were still interfering with moving the window in tight to the corner, setting those numbers at 0", even though I was not using interior casing allowed me to move the windows in tight to the corners. The second, and would have made the first irrelevant, was checking "Ignore Casing for Opening Resize" under Default Settings, Plan, General Settings. Thank you Kbird1.
  6. Chief is not allowing me to pull windows tight into corners. The included image is showing the tightest Chief will allow the window, about 5.5", these are 8" walls.
  7. These monitors are amazing, couldn't imagine designing with just a mouse and keyboard!
  8. We use Wacom monitors in our office and therefor use our keyboards very little, instead using the Input Panel. However since upgrading to X6 we have not been able to get the input panel to function properly, input panel functions properly everywhere except chief. I have updated Wacom drivers. Anyone else experience this, or have a fix? X6 Windows 7 professional intel i7 12 gb ram
